2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, Aug. 4-10, 2014 at Nassau Country Club, Glen Cove, N.Y.

FAR HILLS, N.J. (July 30, 2014) – The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced groupings and starting times for the first two rounds of the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, Monday (Aug. 4) and Tuesday (Aug. 5), at the 6,297-yard, par-72 Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y.

The U.S. Women’s Amateur consists of 36 holes of stroke play on Aug. 4 and Aug. 5, after which the field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. There will be six rounds of match play, starting Aug. 6. The quarterfinals, slated for Aug. 8, will be followed by the semifinals on Aug. 9. The championship is scheduled to conclude with a 36-hole final on Sunday, Aug. 10.
