The highly coveted and classic Mizuno TN-87 blades which were originally released in 1988, are set to make a return.

Tommy Nakashima from Japan back in the late 1980s was the #1 player on the JPGA tour using these type of Mizuno blades. In more recent times there has been a move away fromj the classic blades to game improvement styled clubs; moving onto a combination of heel and toe clubs and blades in the same set by leading manufacturers; right up to a number of golfers looking for the return of great looking and classic golf irons.

The Mizuno TN-87 blades will be a collectors item and stir great interest amongst the golfing fraternity. So why is that?  Mizuno blade purists love the shape and feel that make up its cult appeal.

Mizuno Golf Company use  a copper under layer below the chrome mirror finish as part of the manufacturing process. The double edged blade creates a nice soft and dense impact, so that these new 2015 Golf Irons not only look great, feel great and play great.

These 2015 Golf Irons are going to be very expensive when Mizuno Golf Equipment Company offers the 3-SW for approximately  £4,000 per set. You would think that these new golf irons for 2015 would be cost prohibitive but this was said about 1,000 limited edition sets of irons in the 1980s which were selling for £1,000 and which are now worth a small fortune as a collectors’ items.

There are improvements in the 2015 Golf Sets compared with the 80s. The lie angle for example on the 2015 Mizuno Golf Wedges have been tweaked ever so slightly also there is now a new gap wedge for 2015.

I feel there will be major interest in these new Mizuno Golf Irons for 2015. I’m willing to wager that even at this price these will not last very long, so therefore if you are interested in buying a set, get in quick! If we can help you, please e mail us at
