The Ladies Home International matches will take place in Aberdovey, Wales between 17-19 September 2014. The Irish Ladies Team will compete against England, Scotland and Wales over the three day tournament.

The Irish Ladies Golf Union have sent a strong line-up, which includes three members of the Irish Team who played at the World Amateur Team Championships in Japan, Mary Doyle (The Heath), Paula Grant (Lisburn) and Maria Dunne (Skerries). Amy Farrell (Moate), Olivia Mehaffey (RCD Ladies), Jean O’Driscoll (Muskerry), Chloe Ryan (Castletroy) and Sinead Sexton (Lahinch) all have International experience and will add strength to the side.

The Irish Ladies Team will be looking to finish one better than last year where they secured second place after beating England on the final day 5-4 to finish on a high.  All updates from the Tournament can be seen by following the Irish Ladies Golf Union on Facebook and Twitter. Aberdovey Golf Course

Aberdovey is a beautiful links golf course. You encounter one of the three par-5s well into the round at the 7th. There are 9 par-4s that can play over 400 yards but interventions at the short 8th and 16th level the playing field.
