August 19: The Dalat at 1200 Country Club and Private Estate, which is the first property to be announced as an Asian Tour Destination, will welcome Laguna National Golf and Country Club into its network of reciprocal clubs, officials announced today.

The Dalat at 1200 holds the distinction of being the first Asian Tour Destination property where members and guests can expect a comprehensive range of facilities and services.

The 18-hole championship golf course at The Dalat at 1200 which is designed by Asian golfing legend, Kyi Hla Han, a former Asian Tour Order of Merit winner, will also play host to its first full field Asian Tour event in Vietnam when fully completed in 2015.

The partnership with Laguna National Golf and Country Club in Singapore is expected to raise the benchmark for both properties as well as professional golf in the Asia.

Tang Kay Hwa, Executive Director of The Dàlat at 1200 Country Club & Private Estate said, “The agreement with the Laguna National Golf & Country Club not only provides our members with reciprocal access to one of the most outstanding Clubs in South East Asia but also perfectly mirrors our expectations in raising the bar to deliver a world-class golf and leisure experience.”

The Laguna National Golf and Country was the host venue of The Championship which was co-sanctioned by The Asian Tour and European Tour in May this year.

It had also hosted the Singapore Masters which was played there in the six years between 2002 and 2007.
