Ten tournaments honored with “Best Of” awards at PGA TOUR Tournament Meetings; BMW Championship and Waste Management Phoenix Open share Tournament of the Year honors

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Ten tournaments were honored with “Best Of” awards by the PGA TOUR at the TOUR’s Tournament Meetings on Thursday, November 20 in La Quinta, Calif.

The BMW Championship and the Waste Management Phoenix Open shared PGA TOUR Tournament of the Year honors, and both events captured three awards. The BMW Championship, contested at Cherry Hills Country Club outside Denver in 2014, earned its third straight PGA TOUR Tournament of the Year award.

“On behalf of the PGA TOUR, I am pleased to congratulate the ten tournaments that were named the best among their peers on TOUR,” said PGA TOUR EVP and Chief of Operations Andy Pazder. “The tournament committees should be proud of the special recognition they have earned for their efforts.”
