FOUR NEWCOMERS IN HOME INTERNATIONAL TEAM

Four new caps – Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne), Louise MacGregor (Falkirk), Kate McIntosh (Broomieknowe) and Tara McTaggart (Minto) – have been named in the Scottish team for the Home Internationals at Aberdovey in Wales from September 17-19.

While the US-based players all unavailable for selection,  the team remains strong with Scottish Champion Gabrielle MacDonald (Craigielaw) and Curtis Cup player Eilidh Briggs (Kilmacolm) heading the line-up.

Eilidh’s older sister, Megan, and Hannah McCook (Grantown-On-Spey) complete the line-up.

Alison Bartlett (Royal Dornoch), winner of the Scottish Seniors Stroke and Matchplay Championship at Elgin last month, heads the Scottish team for the Seniors’ Home Internationals at Huddersfield from September 30-October 2. The one new cap in the team is Hayston’s Lesley Lloyd.
