
Scotland’s Bradley Neil lies 4th in latest World Amateur Golf Ranking.
18 year-old Neil earned the biggest victory of his young golfing career when he defeated South Africa’s Zander Lombard at Royal Portrush to win the 119th Amateur Championship.
Neil, has had a superb season and had already posted seven top 10 finishes before Portrush, with three seconds and two third place finishes, including a play-off loss to compatriot, Grant Forrest, in the 2014 St Andrews Links Trophy.
The Scottish golfer is scheduled to play in next week’s 2014 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
The WAGR is still led by Oliver Schniederjans, who recently represented the US Golf team in the Palmer Cup.
In second and third places, respectively, are compatriots Robby Shelton and Scottie Scheffler.
