To win the FedExCup – No. 2 Billy Horschel (Currently T1; projected T1)

  • If he wins the TOUR Championship, he wins the FedExCup
  • If Jim Furyk wins the TOUR Championship, Horschel can win the FedExCup by finishing solo second
  • If Rickie  Fowler wins the TOUR Championship, Horschel can win the FedExCup by finishing in a 3-way tie for 2nd
  • If Jason Day wins the TOUR Championship, Horschel can with the FedExCup by finishing T3
  • If Justin Rose with the TOUR Championship, Horschel can win the FedExCup by finishing T6
  • If Chris Kirk or Rory McIlroy wins the TOUR Championship, Horschel can’t win the FedExCup

To win the FedExCup – No. 4 Rory McIlroy (Currently T1; projected T1)

  • If he wins the TOUR Championship, he wins the FedExCup
  • If Rickie Fowler wins the TOUR Championship and Chris Kirk finishes 4th or worse, McIlory would tie Fowler with a solo 2nd, resulting in a playoff for the FedExCup
  • If Justin Rose wins the TOUR Championship, McIlroy can win the FedExCup by finishing 3rd
  • If Jason Day wins the TOUR Championship, McIlroy can win the FedExCup by finishing solo second
  • If Chris Kirk, Billy Horschel or Jim Furyk wins the TOUR Championship, McIlroy can’t win the FedExCup

To win the FedExCup – No. 7 Jim Furyk (Currently third; projected No. 5)

  • Must win the TOUR Championship AND
  • Chris Kirk (No. 1) must finish in a three-way tie for 2nd or worse (currently T7)
  • Billy Horschel (No. 2) must finish T2 or worse (currently T1)

To win the FedExCup – No. 9 Rickie Fowler (Currently T4; projected No. 8)

  • Must win the TOUR Championship, AND
  • Chris Kirk (No. 1) must finish in a 3-way tie for third or worse (currently T7)
  • Billy Horschel (No. 2) must finish third or worse (currently T1)
  • Bubba Watson (No. 3) must finish T2 or worse (currently 11th)
  • Rory McIlroy (No. 4) must finish second or worse* (currently T1)

To win the FedExCup – No. 26 Justin Rose (Currently T4; projected No. 11)

  • Must win the TOUR Championship, AND
  • Chris Kirk (No. 1) must finish 22nd or worse* (currently T7)
  • Billy Horschel (No. 2) must finish sixth or worse* (currently T1)
  • Bubba Watson (No. 3) must finish fourth or worse* (currently 11th)
  • Rory McIlroy (No. 4) must finish T-3 or worse (currently T1)

To win the FedExCup – No. 10 Jason Day (Currently T4; projected No. 10)

  • Must win the TOUR Championship, AND
  • Chris Kirk must finish fifth or worse (currently T7)
  • Billy Horschel must finish in a 3-way tie for third or worse (currently in first place)
  • Rory McIlroy must finish T2 or worse (currently T1)

*Denotes a scenario where a tie for the FedExCup could occur, necessitating a sudden-death playoff.

  • If Justin Rose wins the TOUR Championship, Kirk can win the FedExCup with a 21st or  better
  • If Jason Day wins the TOUR Championship, Kirk can win the FedExCup with a three-way tie for fourth
  • If Billy Horschel or Rory McIlroy wins the TOUR Championship, Kirk can’t win the FedExCup

To win the FedExCup – No. 3 Bubba Watson (Currently 11th; projected No. 4)

  • If he wins the TOUR Championship, he wins the FedExCup
  • If Rory McIlroy, Billy Horschel or Jim Furyk win the TOUR Championship they win the FedExCup
  • If Rickie Fowler wins the TOUR Championship and Kirk finishes 4th or worse, Watson can win the FedExCup with a solo 2nd
  • If Justin Rose wins the TOUR Championship and Kirk finishes 21st or worse, Watson can tie Rose with a solo fourth
  • If Jason Day wins the TOUR Championship, Horschel finishes solo 3rd and Kirk finishes solo 4th, Watson would tie Horschel and Kirk with a T2
