The 36 holes stroke play qualifying gets underway today, whereby the complete field will play one round at both host venues.

The leading sixty four players and ties shall advance to the knock out match play stage around Royal Portrush Links, with the winner of the match play being crowned 2014 Amateur Champion at the end of a long and hard week.
