Italy led the 2014 European Boys Golf Team Championship qualifying at Oslo Golf Club, Norway.

The Italian Golf Team posted a total score of 707 to head the qualifiers by one shot from Swden (708).

Norway, England, Spain, Scotland, Denmark and Wales also safely made it through to the knock out matchplay stage.

Ireland, were well down the field and 14 strokes away fron the qualifying mark of 730.

The owner is a golf fanatic who had to retire early from competitive tour play due to a back injury that required surgery.
