John Huh earned his first PGA TOUR win at the 2012 OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

John Huh enjoys playing at  El Camaleon Golf Club. It was the site of his first PGA TOUR victory, at the 2012 OHL Classic at Mayakoba. Now he can count an ace among his achievements in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

He used an 8-iron to ace the 159-yard, par-3 15th in Thursday’s first round; it was the first hole-in-one of his PGA TOUR career.

It is the eighth ace on TOUR this season. Last season, the eighth hole-in-one did not come until June at the FedEx St. Jude Classic by Stuart Appleby.

Quicken Loans is awarding a year’s mortgage payments to a randomly selected fan for every hole-in-one made on the PGA TOUR the rest of the 2014 calendar year.

Huh also won a BMW 2 Series for his hole-in-one.
