David Dixon and Martin Sell (pictured) from England have won the latest Jamega Tour event at Essendon Golf & Country Club Old Course, Herfordshire.

Sell, opened up with a nine under par course record of 63 that was matched by Simon Griffiths from The Wentworth Club in round one. He then added a further round of four under par, 68, for a total score of -13, 131.

Dixon, fired rounds of -7, 65, and -6, 66, to tie with Sell at the top of the Jamega Tour leaderboard.

Sell and Dixon have been in excellent form and should gain great confidence from such low scoring as the season heads towards European Tour Qualifying School.

In third place at Essendon Golf & Country Club was Ricky Brackenbury from Orsett Golf Club with a total score of -11, 131, consisting of rounds of -4, 68, and -7, 65.

In tied fourth position on – 10, 134, were first rounder leader, Simon Griffiths, and Trinidad & Tobago’s Benjamin Martin, who posted rounds of -8, 64, and -2, 70. Griffiths, was unable to sustain the stuning scoring of round one and added a respectable -1, 71, to go with his new course record shared with Martin Sell.

A full list of golf scores is detailed below.

The next event on the 2014 Jamega Tour schedule is at The Shire, London, on Monday, 14 – Tuesday, 15 Jul 2014.
