Boost to Golf in Bulgaria, Thracian Cliffs Golf Resort receives critical acclaim
Thracian Cliffs Golf Resort in Bulgaria has been granted membership of the prestigious Leading Golf Courses Europe collection.
The luxury Black Sea Golf Destination has gained critical acclaim since opening the Gary Player designed course in the 2011 golf season.
Thracian Cliffs standing in the golfing world was greatly boosted by hosting the 2013 Volvo World Match Play Championship and was awarded the accolade of ‘European Golf Resort of the Year 2014’ by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).
Following a golf visit by Wolfgang Kunneth, president of the Leading Golf Courses Europe, Thracian Cliffs was listed as the latest member, joining other elite golf courses in Europe including Costa Navarino, Son Gual, Monte Rei and Open Championship venue Turnberry.
