The Owners of three existing successful restaurants in the town of El Gouna, near Hurghada, Egypt, will manage a restaurant and bakery located in the Ancient Sands Golfing Resort piazza.

El Gouna veteran restaurant operators, Per and Anna Ankarlou, also owners of an apart hotel property at Ancient Sands Golf Resort and the managers of three other very successful restaurants in El Gouna, will be operating the restaurant and bakery in the Ancient Sands Resort piazza when the operation of the hotel commences.

A brasserie style restaurant will offer international mouth watering cuisine and service with style adding to the cosmopolitan flavour of Ancient Sands Resort.

Per Ankarlou commented, “We are excited to be a part of the Ancient Sands operations and are looking forward to welcoming our fellow owners, hotel guests and “Gounies” (the El Gouna long term residents) when we open later this year.”

The Ancient Sands Resort piazza creates a cozy atmosphere and overlooks the Ancient Sands Golf Course Fairways, Lagoon and the Red Sea.
