The 11th hole is not for the faint hearted measuring 191 yards from the back tees, with out of bounds stretching down the right of the hole and two bunkers to catch errand shots. A 4 here is more than acceptable.

Holes number 13 and 14 are par 5s and can offer birdies but beware in being too greedy as the tree lined fairways place an onus on accuracy from the tee and for the second shot. The closing holes offer a stern test and also demand accuracy from the tee with dog legs and elevation ensuring that you have to be playing well to make a good score.

Take the junction signed B3414 Leigham & Estover, then take 4th Exit off Roundabout on B3416. Immediately take left hand lane sign poseted Plympton and continue to Marsh Mills.

From Exeter Via A38 – Devon Express Way

If travelling on the A38 from Exeter, ignore the 1st sign to Plympton and continue to next exit, Marsh Mills.

At Marsh Mills Roundabout, take the lane marked Plympton. Continue along the Plympton Road, through four sets of traffic lights. At the fourth set there is a Somerfield Garage on your left hand side. Turn left here into Larkham Lane. Continue along Larkham Lane, and at the junction turn right. At the end of the road turn right and immediately left into Crossways. Follow Crossways until the end of the road and turn left into Borringdon Hill. The Elfordleigh Hotel is situated up the hill through the county lanes (one mile) on the right hand side.
