Tournament Winner – The 143rd Open Championship Betting Odds

Overnight leader, Rory McIlroy of Ireland, has been installed as odds-on favorite with William Hill to win the 143rd Open Championship at Royal Liverpool (Hoylake) Golf Club today.

Online bookmakers, William Hill, are offering golf betting odds of 1/12 for the two-time major golf champion to record the 3rd leg of the Grand Slam, having already won the US Open and USPGA Championship in past seasons.

McIlroy’s father placed a £400 golf bet on him when he was very young to win before he was 26 and stands to win £250,000 if his son records victory today.

Players standing in his way include American Rickie Fowler, who partners McIlroy today. The U.S. Golf Star is on offer at golf odds of 16/1.
